Review: Luna and her sister Willow have always lived near the swamp. They navigate it on their boat, careful to follow their mother’s rules to never go too far. In their Grandmother’s time the village was on a beautiful flowing river but according to legend, sprites cursed the land. Practical and adventurous Luna doesn’t believe in fairy stories. But when Willow contracts swamp sickness, the incurable "wasting illness," Luna might just change her mind. An engaging tale told through alternating perspectives of Luna and Perdita, the sprite, points to the importance of family.
