- Teaching and Learning International Survey TALIS is conducted by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OCDE). TALIS is the ONLY international survey on the conditions of teaching and learning - without these data, we would be unable to identify other countries facing similar challenges and to learn from other police approaches. In addition, without TALIS teachers and school leaders would lack a key venue for voicing their views on teaching and learning to political decision-makers.
- NEA Foundation launches two new courses NEA launched two new NEA Foundation Courses: Effective School-Community Collaboration and Facilitating Effective Labor-Management Teams. These courses are free and available on their website.
- KSDE Annual Conference Cover Art Design Contest All students in Kansas are invited to participate in a contest to design cover art for the 23rd Annual Kansas State Department of Education Annual Conference which will be held November 4-6, 2013 in Wichita, Kansas. All entries must be postmarked by May 10, 2013.
