Blake West,
President

Blake is a mathematics teacher and technology coordinator on leave from the Blue Valley School District.  He is a resident of Overland Park, KS.




 

 


  Karen Godfrey, Vice President

Karen Godfrey is an English teacher on leave from the Seaman Freshman Center in Topeka. She is a resident of Wakarusa, KS.

Mark Farr is a science teacher at Nickerson High School in the USD 309 Nickerson-South Hutchinson School District. He is a resident of Nickerson, KS.

Claudette Johns , Executive Director

Claudette Johns is the Chief Executive Officer of the Association and is ultimately responsible for managing all staff and overseeing the implementation of programs for the Association. She has been affiliated with KNEA since 1970 when she first bacame a member of the KNEA Student Program at Wichita State University.

Kevin Riemann is KNEA’s associate executive director. As second in command for managing the affairs of the Association, his primary responsibility is to implement the UniServ Program – the effective system to deliver services to members through 18 regional divisions (UniServ Districts) in the state.




 

 

The KNEA Board is comprised of representatives from each of the 18 service areas of the state, and representatives for the following groups:  KNEA Retired, the KNEA Student Program, higher education, educational support professionals, and ethnic minority members.
